CFE’s 2025 Tax Symposium: “Taxation in Transition: Compliance, Rights & Innovation in a High-Data World”

The CFE’s 2025 Tax Symposium on “Taxation in Transition: Compliance, Rights & Innovation in a High-Data World” examines the practical impact of EU corporate tax modernisation, the OECD/EU Pillar Two (GloBE) regime and the latest DAC reforms. Technical panels will:

    • Analyse the implications of recent EU case-law and other cross-border policy developments;
    • Assess proportionality in penalties, limitation (prescription) periods, DAC information-exchange obligations and pre-populated return systems; and
    • Evaluate AI-driven risk-scoring, secure IT architectures and real-time VAT solutions such as MOSS/IOSS.

The event gathers policy-makers, academics and practitioners to provide actionable guidance for navigating today’s data-intensive, cross-border tax environment.

The programme will be available in due course. Please note that no online connection will be available. The event will take place exclusively in person.

We look forward to receiving your registration and to welcoming in Ghent!
